Snagged the Black Manta sub set off Prime for $13 and it's worth that much. It's got some decent light/sound effects but it feels kinda cheap all over, with shoddy construction overall such as the seat canopy wobbling in the hinge and the tail fins/Manta trident being all rubbery and warped. But the real stinger of Spin's incompetence is that neither figure can even sit in the cockpit. Neither figure can bring their legs together to fit in the A-frame seat nor can they bring their thighs up enough into a sitting position to put their asses on the seat leather.
Fuck sakes, y'all. I don't expect perfection from any toy company but I do expect every toy company to fucking *try*.
$1 Aquaman movie figures and $2 on flash is a great opportunity to experiment with switching heads, accessories and painting to get missing characters. The giant batman robot it's like 60 percent off on Target's eBay store as it was the rc batmobile. Hopefully all this clearance items don't translate into less dc products from spin master.

What's interesting is that's Batman Returns Batman from 92 with an 89 Batwing. Wonder if that an 89 Batman inside the plane?
I really hope these scale with my two 89 4 inch Batmen from Mattel and Catwoman. (Mattel's Penguin doesn't scale well at all, but he goes great with the Kenner stuff...)

It looks like Spin Masters is doing a Batman Movie figure line. Besides the upcoming Batman and Batwing, there is a 3 Pack with Keaton, Bale, and Afflack Batman's all in it.
And now, people are finding single carded figures in black packaging of Keaton Batman and Bane from the Dark Knight Rises.
Hopefully this continues and goes a little deeper.
I'd love to have 1:18 scale figures from the Keaton Movies, Kilmer and Clooney Movies, and Bale Movies.
Years ago, Mattel did some movie based figures and video game figures for Batman. I still prefer the comic based figures the most.

Just saw this. I'll have to see him in person to decide if I'm picking him up. The latest Spin Master stuff seems to be sticking with the shorter scale (as opposed to The Batman line).
