Spin Master DC action figure lines

I picked up the 2 Blue Beetle 4 inch figures at Target. I still have not seen the 4 inch Carapax figure. Target has it online to order. Has anyone here ordered online from Target? Pros and cons?

The last time I ordered from Target online it was a pre-order that seemed to take forever.

@goldbug Hi! Yes, I will be returning to work on my Spin Master Checklist in a few weeks.

I missed the initial Target Online window for Carapax, but I will continue to look in the stores for him.

I did see that Aquaman / Black Manta photo the other day. I don't plan on ordering the Submarine playset. I'll wait for the single figures.

I'm not sure what Spin Master has planned for Harley Quinn. Mattel almost released an original costume Harley in the DC Infinite Heroes line.

So I was notified that Target had the Carapax figure online again and I ordered it. It came in fairly quick. Spin Master has been doing a great job with the new highly detailed sculpts.

The Aquaman movie figures look OK. I hope that they will be easy to find when they are finally released.

@goldbug I'll have to wait until they show up at either Target, Walmart or Kohl's.

Picked up the gun-arm Beetle figure today and he indeed has some great sculpting detail but god-a-mighty am I tired of superheroes that can't do jack shit in terms of superhero poses.  This company is fucking incompetent with making action figures and hasn't learned anything since failing the Tron: Legacy movie with their unplayable shit figures from 10years ago.  *sigh*, time to search for an appropriate buck to graft details onto so I can get a superhero that can achieve a super pose.

Has Spin Master ever re-released their 4" Green Lantern?  I've been tempted to pick up a Justice League from this line.  Most the main team is easily available either as singles or via the 6pk.  Except for Green Lantern.  Hopefully they re-release him at some point.  And they've never released a Hal Jordan Green Lantern, have they?

Green Lantern was re-released around Christmas at Walmart, in 2021 I think…. Still never found one in store, but it brought the eBay prices down.

Thanks to tlasjr I got all the Batman/Flash movie figures I wanted...

wow they really messed up on Supergirl's head even though that seems to be the only one with a likeness

Went back to get the regular Beetle to get the normal left forearm and Xena-hoop weapons.  The socket hole in the gun arm might be an issue with where the hand will end up, but I'm hoping to drill out the gun arm to make it swappable on the regular arm as part of making a proper Jaime.

Did Jaime really have a purple ass in the movie as these two figures have?

That DC Infinite Heroes Flash looks great. It reminds me how much I love that toy line.

I wish that Spin Master had the freedom to make whatever DC characters they want, but they have to follow the suggestions from DC's marketing team. We saw a few DC Future State Batman characters, and I'm wondering what will be coming next in the Batman toy line and the basic DC toy line?

Bashed both the BBs onto an FN Human Bill to get some joints into him but the seam between BB's chest and Bill's abdomen will never look good, I'm afraid.  I've got more 'finessing' and obviously the paintwork to do but he's already pretty decent-looking, imho:

I drilled out the gun arm and trimmed the 'pincer's peg down so it'll slide onto his left forearm with the hand removed, and added some MTF Valkyrie hands for wrist jointage (and a better grip on all the weapons, truth be told).  The scarabs are soft overlays onto the hard plastic back, with the six black spots on the Scarab's back being 'reverse pegs' holding it in place and it works pretty dang well to keep them both in place.  As I don't want to trim the sword's handle down any, the only thing I lose is the option to add the sword to the gun socket (but that's kinda dumb anyways, so it's no great loss at all).  I also cut the tops of his shoulderpads a bit to allow him to raise his arms out sideways to a reasonable amount, and bashed Bill's neck joint in so he can look around at what he's attacking.
