Does anyone know how the Collector's club work on the McFarlane Toys Store website? Can you only use up to $20 off at a time? It's 250 points for $20, but if you have 500 points can you get $40 off? I know some people have mentioned it on here, but I totally forgot about it and I have a lot of points accumulated.
@tenzilkem I recently asked this as well. When you redeem points for the $20 reward (or anything else), you're provided a discount code. You can only use one code per transaction, which means that you won't be able to use more than one $20 redemption at a time, nor will you be able to use the MTS10 code in addition to your $20 redemption either. Basically no stacking.
BTW, I finally found the regular and platinum versions of Geo-Force at my local Target last week. Surreal. After over two months of hunting for them, I had given up.
That Scarecrow looks beefy in the package because the plastic tie is pulling the soft jacket overlay down in the tray.
In the Toy Shiz video, once he'a out of the package, he looked fine.
He also got the figures FROM McFarlane, so I don't know if they're out just yet.
I forget where I saw it, but I saw a side-by-side comparison of Begins Scarecrow next to Nolan Two Face and Joker, and the Court of Owls member, and I find it a little odd that they didn't just go with the body they used for the court member. It's noticeably skinnier, with a slightly cinched waist, and thinner arms and legs (no odd bell bottoms either). My only thought is that maybe the head didn't look right on that skinnier body? The shoulders are noticeably broader on Scarecrow than the court member, so maybe it looked a little goofy, though now I'm curious to see what it looks like. Cillian Murphy isn't the skinniest guy around, but he's far from as bulky or broad as the figure would have you believe; his body type definitely skews closer to the court member. They could always have just tweaked the headsculpt a bit; if you're going to make a smaller run of a figure that already re-uses a few parts, I can't imagine tweaking the head- whether sculpt-wise or size-wise, would really require that much effort (or money).
Obviously I'm pickier than most when it comes to Scarecrow figures, and I'm gonna get him regardless (hoping I won't have to resort to crazy ebay prices), but it's a bit of an odd choice to me to make him how they did.
I know it's a long shot, but I really hope that when McFarlane puts up the Begins Batman for pre-order, there's a bundle option with Demon Batman and Scarecrow (or just the whole wave, with Keaton Batman too). I'd love to get them all in one go and not have to worry about the headache of tracking them all down (SO difficult here in NY).
@stephenwdavis Thanks. This is what I thought, I just wanted to confirm. I was hoping the redeem code was separate from the 10% off code. There are some items i was thinking of getting and realize it will be cheaper if I order them individually ($20 off per item) than as one order.
funny these are already hitting store and NOW he's putting these up for preorder...lol
begins batman for preorder on 2/21

Thanks for the heads up, I won't give up quite yet. I've come close to pulling the trigger with ebay a couple of different times now.
Both of my PG's from Gamestop have finally shipped, so fingers crossed. And my regular Captain Cold landed in my PoL at BBTS.
Has FedEx picked up your package yet? Mine says it's still in TX, no movement.
Power Girl available for shipping again on Gamestop.
What do you call Batman when he skips church?

I mean.... I know I'm probably a fool, but that's $40 out of pocket for a too-tall Power Girl. I can't seem to pull the trigger.
Entertainment Earth sent Guy and Cold and I got both chases. No desire for either. Its 2025. This shouldn't still be a thing.

Or just find her in stores this week or next.
Well, in an unexpected turn of events, I can take the Begins wave off my list of things to worry about. My boyfriend is visiting family in Arizona this week, and he stopped by Target and found the whole wave on the pegs. Must've just been put out, because the whole case breakdown was still on the shelf- 2 Begins Batman, 2 Scarecrow, 1 Demon Batman, and 1 Keaton (at least I think that's the full breakdown). Also had the Neo Gothic Batman Beyond platinum, but I wasn't interested in that one. He got me one each of the Batmen, and both Scarecrows, and just in time too. As he was leaving the aisle, someone else came and took the other Batman and the Neo Gothic. He's back in town tomorrow night, so either then or Friday I'll have them all in hand! This might be my first time ever having figures before they're even up for pre-order!
