What I know is that I still have a dozen shelves packed with hundreds of DCUC figures displayed proudly.   None of them are disintegrating on me.    I still happily customize characters to flesh out rosters using other DCUC figures and I don't have tons of fragility issues.    So,  I suppose it's possible some are experiencing some degradation of their plastic -  but that doesn't seem to be the case in my experience and I remain highly satisfied with my DCUC collection.

Conversely, I have over 60 NECA figures in my collection and have only had 2 or 3 break on me, so I get that figures breaking is a case by case basis. I just wanted to share that it's at least possible it could happen with this line.

I have 3 Hawks hanging from a ceiling and both versions of Superboy displayed on a shelf, and they're all fine currently, but I am aware that could change, especially with the plastic Mattel was using at the time.

I've slowly been selling m DCUC. I've been starting with the one's I dont mind not having anymore like Forager, Deadman, Red Lantern Skallox. Then I hit the part of the box that had the Metal Men. I have them listed, but man is it rough. I was never the biggest fan of them in the comics, but those figures pop like something crazy. I just hope they go to a good home when they sell.

Well,  I like that there are people like you so I can always find fodder for customs so I can keep fleshing out my DCUC display shelves.

@spongyblue Could never do it. Love my DCUC collection and so many of the figures just scream comicbooks to me. The most fun I have ever had collecting, even frustrations with the lame subscriptions when the line was in its death throws do not taint my rose colored lenses as regards this line.

Oh believe me, there is nothing but love for it. I just have to come to the realization that space is limited and even though I want to keep everything I've collected over the last 22+ years I've been doing this, I have let some things go. At this point the only hold outs will be JSA with a few here and there. There was a point I was collecting Marvel, DC, anything the Four Horsemen Studios put out, Star Wars, a few video game characters here and there, almost the entire ToyBiz Lord of the Rings line, then you throw in GI Joe that last few years.......stuff adds up. It kinda stinks, but thats reality.

I just lament the 20 or so figures that would have capped the line for me. That’s a reminder to finish that DCUC Mr Freeze custom I was working on
