I'd certainly buy a Talia from Batman '66 meets Wonder Woman '77. That's probably the only one that I'd personally want.

I think they can continue the Batman 66 line, but can also make other retro lines. They already did a Filmation Batman line and I would like it if they did the other Filmation cartoons. I like that they are doing the Super Friends but it doesn't mean that it is part of the Batman 66 line. Hopefully they change the packaging to reflect the Super Friends cartoon. I would still love to see a retro George Revees Superman in color & black & white as well as the Legends of the Super-Heroes from the late 70's.

The problem is that the Super Friends line is apparently being done as "Batman 66 Wave 12" - which if true is a problem IMO. The Batman '77 wave at least made some sense as the cartoon (along with the '66 Comics) can be viewed as a somewhat continuation of the show.

Super Friends though should be treated and marketed as its own thing - Otherwise how many Batman '66 waves will be dedicated to Super Friends figures instead of them being done in a separate, dedicated Super Friends line? If each wave is 5-6 figures only that's really gonna slow done the Batman '66 figures

When I see the line on the McFarlane website or in the leaked listings it is referred to as DC Retro. It has started out with Batman 66 TV figures, added Batman 66 comic book figures and also made Filmation Batman figures. You see the Super Friends as "Batman 66 Wave 12" & I see it as "DC Retro Wave 12".

I actually like the idea of a Superfriends wave. The filmation wave was fantastic and I could see these working equally well. Superfriends Hall of Justice and Batmobile also please 🙂 .

My issue would be if they did a hypothetical wave 12 made of just Super Friends characters it would be a wave with nothing to do with Batman '66

And if they start using waves of a Batman '66 line to introduce characters from a totally underrated show it will slow down the already snail's pace release of actual Batman '66 characters

If they do Super Friends in its own line I have no problem with that

This line has been “DC Retro” from Day 1.  I just pulled out my carded Robin and the barcode says “DC Retro 6IN WV1 - Batman 66”.  It’s not a Batman ‘66 line, it is a DC Retro line where each wave is a different theme.

They haven’t exactly been churning through TV show characters anyway, with constant repaints and very loosely related comic characters (Superman, Wonder Woman, Lord Death Man), and at the same time they probably don’t have a lot of TV show characters left to cover given the lack of likeness rights.  The reality is switching themes occasionally is likely what is keeping this line going.

^^ Those are outrageous! If I didn’t already have them in 1/6 scale (Tweeterhead) I would be all over this. Gotta pick my pricey battles.

Todd losing the DC license is disappointing as I had hoped we'd get a few more pieces to complete this line - the Batcopter, civilian Bruce and Dick, maybe Mad Hatter, Shame...maybe we will get another wave or two...

I like the look of the Superfriends figures. You know I'm gonna be hoping he does Scarecrow before the line ends- I've always liked that Ghostface-esque version from that show (although, since that Scarecrow came first, I guess Ghostface is rather Scarecrow-esque 😜). Though honestly, having a whole Legion of Doom would be really cool. There's been a fair lack of Grundy figures throughout the years, though I wonder if he'd even attempt to do the bigger characters like Grundy or Grodd; Giganta he could just make a regular size (what's with all the big characters having "G" names?)

Is the Red Batman actually called "Owlman" in the show? (I have only seen a handful of Super Friends episodes)

I've read a few comments online that the Batman 66 line is done. Has that been confirmed or are folks just speculating? I know the Super Friends wave and McFarlane losing the DC license are not good signs, but I didn't think the Batman 66 line was completely done. I'm hoping for a least 1 more wave to get Mad Hatter, at least.

When McFarlane & team were presenting at WonderCon they said Batman '66 is "winding down" and "we've done every character we could in that TV show for the most part."
