That’s what I’m *#^in’ talkin’ about right there.
Robo passed this one my way this morning and I was instantly compelled to throw in behind this Kickstarter.
Marauder has had some success in doing some really nice looking 1/18 scale stuff previously, and it looks like they’re taking a shot at the bigger scale with this one. And they look amazing.
The opening wave consists of the AK-74U, M4, T9, “Commando” Rifle, Pistol and RPG
Now, obviously we do own some of these from various sources like Plan B, Neca, etc, but what sets these apart is the optional parts, folding stocks and removable magazines. That stuff is just aweseome. Even the very well-made Madelman guns can’t drop mags.
In particular, I am really digging the optional parts like the AFG (angled-foregrip) and Red Dot sights, The grips and magazines look like the came off the Magpul catalog. I mean, that AKSU– dudes, I run that gun, and mine looks just like it:
The AK, M4 and the RPG-7 are pretty common choices, but the other three are some neat choices. The pistol looks like a Sig 220 series maybe? And the Commando might be a Scorpion EVO? Man that thing is hot. I actually don’t know the T9- gotta be a little 9mm subgun though, and I like it.
Anyway, this looks like a screaming deal with the packages they have up, even if it wasn’t a kickstarter, their pricing is well within the range of the import accessories, and they have even more features. So back this puppy!
