We reported that Rosita would be part of The Walking Dead TV Series 8 and have since found out that it’s not true. The speculation was based on a digital sculpt that was floating around the net. But never fear, Rosita is part of the fan vote for TV Series 9!
Yes, either someone at McFarlane or someone at AMC, or someone in between, misspelled “Series” on the big Fan Vote banner. Not going to fault them though, all good. Even worse, after I typed this sentence I scrolled up and realized I had spelled it “Sereis.” Doh!
You can vote here. The choices are Rosita, Beth, Lori, Sasha, Tara, Noah, Martinez, Father Gabriel, and T-Dog. I have my own personal ranking for each of these choices starting with T-Dog as most wanted and Lori being least, but I have to ask: Where is Morgan?
Interestingly enough, the background for the poll gives us a look at TV Series 6.5 and 7. We first saw Rick and Hershel a while back but it’s good to see the figures further into the production chain, even if they are rehashes. The different angle on the Series 7 Mud Zombie looks good too, not as glossy bloody looking.
Yes, we see your flashlight Carl, turn it off.
Now, onto TV Series 7.5.
We knew about Rick from the headless tease but he looks good all put together. It looks like the same head we just got but what can you do? And he comes with the phone! The Flu Zombie is the new reveal and looks great even if it’s a reuse of the Glenn body. Reuse keeps the toy world a’turnin, just go with it.
Comic Series 4 consists of Abraham, Jesus, Carl, and Pin Cushion Zombie.
I really need to catch up on the comics someday, no idea what is going on with Carl’s eye.
