These pics from McFarlane Toys are always a bit misleading in that they don’t usually show articulation and look pretty much like a scan or a digital painting of the actor, but it’s still exciting to get a look at the process and get that feeling that something new is edging closer, as well as getting a visual confirmation of what is in the series. The Walking Dead TV Series 6 will be Rick Grimes, Hershel Greene, Abraham Ford, Carol Peletier, Bungie Guts Zombie, and Governor in long coat.
This is a fantastic assortment. We get a better articulated Rick, or some of us get our first Rick since the first went to high price crazy land fairly quickly. Hershel and Carol add to the old timers and Abraham adds to the new. Another zombie is always welcome.
And then there’s another Governor. I haven’t quite put my finger on how I feel about this choice. On one hand, I already have a nicely articulated Governor and am quite happy with it. On the other hand, this one is in an outfit that seems to be a more recognizable look when I think of the big bad, to me at least. Who am I kidding, I’ll buy it either way.
