Short and sweet. I tore a muscle so I’m on pain relievers. So this really is a Happy Hour!
Magazine scans of Transformers Masterpiece Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus have popped up online. Magnus is still a black silhouette but Wheeljack is looking great!
From what I’ve read Ultra Magnus will be floating around the $200 range so I may pass unless a Hasbro US version comes about. But Wheeljack. Oh, Wheeljack. You will be mine.
DC Collectibles has posted an interview with Executive Producer of Infinite Crisis, Jeffrey Steefe. The highlight for toy collectors would be the reveal of Renaissance Batman and Mecha Wonder Woman.
The articulation is hard to determine here. If you go to the interview and look at Pajama Party Harley, she looks like she only has arm articulation. Now, I know the Mecha Wonder Woman is only a digital render so there is no telling where joints will be there, but the Batman is also a mystery. Looks like ball elbows. No hips? And there are definitely cuts above the knees but they are on a curve and diagonal. I guess we’ll see.
Third Party Transformers company Maketoys has shown their version of Metroplex, aptly called Utopia.
That is one huge chuck of plastic robot. While I’d love to have this towering above my puny collection Masterpiece figures I’ve acquired so far, I shudder to think of the price. But really, I love his proportions in robot mode, even compared to Hasbro’s impressive effort.

And then there’s this…
Patton Oswalt has joined Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You can read about it on Marvel.com. Wow. Totally works for me.
Happy Hour’s over!
