3 days to the start of International Toy Fair in New York. That means that all the companies are in full swing getting their booths and displays ready, built or finalized. They don’t have time for us, time for putting toy news out on the web, they are busy. And so are we, we’ll be doing some last minute site work to get ready for the show, we are getting our publishing schedule in place for next week, getting on planes to NYC, and mentally getting ready. But as far as breaking, exciting news? Tumbleweeds.
VeeBee and Hagop are on their way to the show. Robokillah is getting some last minute to do’s with the site completed. He and I are preparing for the week ahead as we get ready for server crashes; the rest of the staff stands on guard to help get missed content out to the front page and the mods are ready for the bitching moaning and whining, fighting and eventual banning that comes as a result of major Toy Show news. We stand ready.
There isn’t much to report today. 3A started their Iron Man sale at Bambalandstore.com, check it out, order one. I could mention the MattyCollector Sale or some other pre-order items that I could find, but really it’s dead out there. All my news feeds were dead. Facebook, Twitter, storefronts. Sure sure there are items that I could force on you, but really nothing. In fact, outside of trailers for the following upcoming horror/slasher films Nurse3D, Lucky Bastard, and Zombeavers there isn’t much to report on. I did get some exciting info regarding Dark Souls 2 that will posted over on thecoinslot.com.
Of course there are these nuggets that showed up on my Facebook feed today. I fully expect a legal warning in my email by the end of the day today, but I’ll be damned if this doesn’t look awesome. A gun crazy raccoon and talking one-liner tree kicking ass and taking names. Sweet.
