Can you feel the excitement? One week until Toy Fair. The anticipation, the silence on the news channels, the nerd rage squabbles on the forums. Yup, it’s Toy Fair season! And this is Happy Hour!
I’ve seen preview pics of this figure occasionally over the past few months but it wasn’t until I ran across the commercial that I became interested in Kid Logic’s 6″ Super Deformed Optimus Prime!

This almost scratches my itch for a good, poseable, non-transforming Optimus. Almost. While I dig the deformed style I would kill for a cartoon accurate version with the above stipulations. Kill. Just point someone out to me, they would be ended.
If you pause the video at the 13 second mark you can see super deformed versions of Bumblebee, Soundwave, Starscream, Megatron, and Grimlock. Basically, my whole list of characters I need with my already listed standards before I die. MP Soundwave is damn close, but I need the others too. And don’t tell me about MP10 Prime, if I could find one at a decent price I would snag it. But I can’t.

You may remember we took a look at Toy Notch’s Lost Planet series during SDCC ’13 last year. These are in fact still happening and a painted prototype picture has shown up!

I’ve been waiting forever to see more on this line. Not quite sure what is going on with Thor’s hairline but he does look great. As does Iron Man, what little we can see of him. And it looks like they fixed Captain America’s odd chest/man boob situation he had when we first saw him. Or at least scaled it back a tad? Now, where did Hulk go? From last year’s WonderFest:
Also pictured is Nendoroid Iron Mans and Iron Patriot. Check the links for more pictures on Ebay. Iron Patriot must be newer given the price. Just like Prime up top, I seem to be obsessed with super deformed as long as the articulation is good. I learn something about myself every day.

Hasbro, meet Cable. Cable, Hasbro. Remember in the 90s when there seemed to be a different Cable in every assortment released? We need a new one as the Toy Biz version has lost a lot of it’s shine. Sabretooth body, glue a bunch of tactical gear on. New boots, gloves, left arm, and head. Make it happen Hasbro.
