FIGURE 1: WONDER WOMAN

Biography: Wonder Woman began life as a child sculpted from clay by the Amazon Queen Hippolyta. She was known as Princess Diana and raised by the warrior sisterhood. In a contest to choose an ambassador to the World of Man ("Patriarch’s World") she bested all of her sisters and was awarded the mantle of Wonder Woman. Now she carries the Amazon’s message of peace, armed with a magical golden lasso and bulletproof bracelets.

Biography: Artemis once belonged to the Bana-Mighdall, a splinter tribe of Amazon women who mastered the arts of war. Artemis helped lead her sisters ina civil war against the Amazons when the sorceress Circe transported the Bana-Mighdall to Themyscira. She now serves as Minister of Defense of New Temyscira, the Amazon’s island nation rebuilt after its destruction in the battle to save Earth from the alien being known as Imperiex.

-Occupation: Minister of Defense, adventurer.

Biography: Victor Stone’s dreams of Olympic fame were crushed when his scientist father inadvertently released a creature from another dimension. Victor’s mother was killed by the creature and Victor suffered crippling injuries. To save his son’s life, Silas Stone grafted cybernetic limbs to Victor, turning his son into more machine than man. Known as Cyborg, he is advisor and trainer to the Teen Titans.

Biography: Rather than face a life in prison for a crime he did not commit, Air Force Captain Nathaniel Adam volunteered to take part in the top secret "Captain Atom Project". But an atomic explosion accidentally bonded a living alien metal to Adam and sent him hurtling in time to the modern day. The transformed convict was given a new lease on life as the nuclear-powered DC Super Hero, Captain Atom.

Biography: Thirty years after Bruce Wayne’s self-imposed retirement, Gotham City has been overrun by crime and corruption. The former Batman remains in seclusion until high school student Terry McGuiness, fleeing members of a street gang, winds up at his door. Together, the fight off the gang members. Seeing a need for a new hero to watch over his city, Bruce Wayne assumes responsibility for training Terry to become the new Batman.

Biography: A virtual outcast among the Greek Gods on Mount Olympus, Ares has plotted to destroy both the Olympians and the humans who worship them. In modern times, Ares plotted Earth’s destruction with nuclear warheads, a plot foiled by Wonder Woman. He seeks only to sow dissent and destruction, and will not be content until mankind eradicates itself through war.

Biography: A mutant on his home planet of Kalanor, Despero’s third eye made him undeniably different from the rest of his people. It was this hypnotic eye though that gave him the mental powers he used to subjugate Kalanor under his rule. His mental powers weren’t enough though, and he bathed in the radioactive Flame of Py’tar on Kalanor to gain unimaginable strength, durability and stamina. One of the first and most constant enemies of the Justice League of America, he is hellbent on seeing to the League’s brutal and bloody deaths after numerous defeats at their hands.
