TheFwoosh.com presents the Legendary Marvel Comic Covers contest.
Thanks to our friends on the Hasbro Marvel team, the staff at TheFwoosh.com is proud to present our members with a chance to win one of four fantastic prize packs from Hasbro’s upcoming Fall line-up of Marvel products.
WHO: The Legendary Marvel Comic Covers contest is open to members of TheFwoosh.com at least 18 years of age as of June 1, 2008. Your entry in the contest constitutes your agreement to allow your cover recreations – and your name or username on TheFwoosh.com – to be published on TheFwoosh.com and other websites.
WHAT: We are looking for striking recreations of classic covers from the Marvel library of comic book titles, using action figures from the Marvel Legends lines from Hasbro and Toy Biz. You may also include action figures that have been customized to portray Marvel characters.

WHEN: Deadline for submitting entries is June 30, 2008 at 11:59PM PT, via e-mail to [email protected]. Include your name and username on TheFwoosh.com with your entry.
WHY: Hasbro is providing four prize packs of Marvel products, as described below. This will be your chance to get these products before they hit the shelves this fall. A selection of nominated and winning entries may appear on TheFwoosh.com and other websites.

RULES:
Entrance Criteria
- Entries may use any action figures from the Marvel Legends lines from Hasbro and Toy Biz. Entries may also use any action figures customized to portray Marvel characters.
- Entries must portray a Marvel comic cover. For clarity, entries portraying covers from Marvel / DC crossovers will be ineligible for prizes.
- Any entries previously displayed on TheFwoosh.com or other websites will be ineligible for prizes.
- You may enter multiple times, but only one prize will be awarded per winner.
- Only residents of the United States and Canada are eligible.
- You must be over 18 to enter. Note: entries thought to be outside of the above criteria may be removed from consideration without the entrant being notified.
Judging
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges including members of the staff at TheFwoosh.com. The judging will take place in two parts. First, each judge will select a set of nominees from the cover recreations that strike them the most, for whatever reason. Next, the panel will choose the winning entries from the set of nominated cover recreations. The judges’ decisions shall be final and shall be at their discretion.
The Fine Print
- Entry period ends at 11:59PM Pacific time on June 30, 2008.
- All entries will become the property of TheFwoosh.com and may be displayed on TheFwoosh.com and other websites.
- The prize will be shipped to the winner directly from TheFwoosh.com. Winners who want their prize shipped outside of the United States will be responsible to pay for all shipping costs, including but not limited to shipping, taxes, and tariffs. In the event that a winner does not elect to pay these costs, an alternate winner will be selected.
- Staff members at the Fwoosh and employees of Hasbro are not eligible for this contest (sorry guys!)
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to hold TheFwoosh.com and Hasbro, Inc. and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use or redemption of the prizes.
