The 40th anniversary vintage carded Star Wars: The Empire Strike Back Black Series figures that haven’t even been officially announced yet may be closer to release than we thought!
We knew it was happening, hell, we had a fan vote already, but the actual line-up hasn’t been whispered from Hasbro’s actual lips yet. Rumors and leaks have been circulating though and it’s been assumed it would be a Toy Fair surprise. But now it looks like it may be a simultaneous reveal and release as Toy Hideout on Instagram seems to have some in-hand.
Pretty much what we expected but I’m such a sucker for an action figure on a vintage styled card. It doesn’t appear Bespin Luke has a new body but a Photo Real head will get me to double up there. And Yoda on a pretty ESB backer will get me to buy him for the third time in recent months (Archive and WM Spirit). At least it’s been a year or more since that Han and Leia, and….longer for the AT-AT Driver?
Like I said, sucker. Don’t judge me.
