Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Star Wars Return of the Jedi Boba Fett Promotional Images and Pre-Order Info

Tamashii Nations has a tendency to show Star Wars S.H. Figuarts prototypes and then sit on them, so while the Return of the Jedi Boba Fett is not exactly a new reveal, it is surprising that the solicitation is finally popping up. Finally!

I have to admit, it looks good. A little clean, and vision of the SHF Jango pop into my head (spoiler, I don’t care too much for that figure), but this is MF’n BOBA FETT, you know he’s going to get a test drive.

The eventual comparisons to the excellent MAFEX version will be thrown about, but I’ll wait to make any final decisions until this is in-hand. That’s only fair. But it’s going to be an uphill battle. Durability may be better here, and maaaaaaaybe size when compared to the rest of the mixed Star Wars display. There are factors. Factors, I tell you.

Fett comes with several hands and his blaster. This is expected, not a lot else you can add here. Maybe blast effects for the jetpack? Wrappy cable? Chin caressing alternate hand? Gentle nod head?

I’m kind of surprised Bandai went with the ROTJ, most companies start with Empire and then go from there. Maybe they are holding off for the 40th next year? I’m not complaining though. Maybe they will do a bounty hunter 5-pack! Okay, not complaining, but definitely dreaming there.

Boba Fett should go up for solicitation this weekend for a general release. He’ll cost about $50-$55 and release in September.
