Oh man. Remember that NECA 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set from SDCC 2018? A loooooong long time ago? Did you miss out on that set? Well, it looks like they are coming individually to GameStop.
We had heard rumblings of this, and even over the weekend I joked about how you never know what NECA is going to do.
So while the set steadily sold out at the show, and it was a complete nightmare to get in an order before SDCC, the chance to just leisurely pre-order them and wait until February was just around the corner.
Never mind those who went to eBay after striking out online or at the show. Oof.
All in all, I think it’s a good thing, especially for those who missed out and didn’t want to give an arm and a leg. But I realize not everyone is going to feel that way.
