This week’s featured custom is Discogod’s Shadowcat!
The Alan Davis/ Chris Clairmont run on Excalibur is one of my favorite comic runs and one of the few that I have held onto in recent purges of my comic collection, so I loved seeing this very Alan Davis style Shadowcat custom.
Modifying this Charmed accessory to give Kitty a phasing effect was a fantastic idea. Little touches like this put a custom over the top for me.
Discogod also did an all new sculpt of Kitty’s pal, Lockheed. It’s a beautiful sculpt and really captures the spirit of the way Davis drew Lockheed back in the Excalibur days. Click one of the above pics for a link to Discogod’s thread and a lot more terrific customs.
