Even though there are no specifics or actual characters announced as of yet, just knowing that S.H. Figuarts Guardians of the Galaxy figures are coming is awesome!
Tamashii.jp has updated with categories for both Dr. Strange (who is now also getting distributed through Bluefin) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. While the former has all kinds of pretty pictures of the figure, the latter gets this:
Which is fine and dandy. For now. But given that Bandai is just now finishing the core Avengers: Age of Ultron team a year and a half later with Hawkeye this month, how long will it takes to get at least the core Guardians? I figure Star-Lord will be first, he’s just gotta be. Then either Gamora or Drax followed by some kind of special pack Rocket and Groot? I have no clue, that’s just me speculating. Maybe Rocket will be first. I’m not sure of each character’s popularity overseas.
I just know that I’m in. I loved the first movie and while I still display the Marvel Legends GOTG movie team in the main display, this is Figuarts. I can’t wait to see what happens.
