  1. Im still wondering why the house of Tranformers hasnt give us a definite MMPR line of zords!

  2. THATS WHAT LOOKS OFF! You nailed it! I couldnt figure out why the suits look so weird. Its cuz they are all smooth like the Bandai toys were.

  3. Have you seen the details on the accessories here, and thought to yourself that might be the reason why these are 55 bucks a piece compared to Hasbro’s releases which are 20 bucks with each release lacking paint details on visors, buckles and weapons? They released Goldar twice with wings open and once with wings folded Sword was missing apps, and the wrong Gold color was used to keep costs low. Here we have a complete Goldar what looks to be color corrected and accessories for 55 bucks released through a company with no retail presence with a strict made to order capacity. The price is more than fair, especially when you see the tooling and paint on Tyrannosaurus, which I doubt you would ever see on a Hasbro Lightning Collection.

  4. Easy pass.

Depending on how Goldar scales he might be up for consideration.

If the Tyranno Zord can combine with other Zords I’ll bite, otherwise this line is a dud for me.

  5. So these are triple the price of Hasbro’s figures, lack articulation, and do not have wrinkles in the suits? NO THANK YOU!!!!!

Now I’m not saying everything is bad, as I do like some of the accessories, especially for the Putty. However, it would cost too much to army build and I don’t have faith that S7 is going to do complete teams, MotW, and main villains for anything outside of MMPR. And that’s assuming they even do them all for MMPR.

    OH, and again, outdated articulation…

They should have gone for something more special like Sentai only teams. They would have gotten me with Dairanger

  6. And for the price, why not two figures to accommodate the heads? Two Hasbros is the same price as one of the S7s. Because collectors gotta exclusively collect.

  7. I think there are some great Power Rangers figures just clogging pegs and I encourage everyone before buying the ultimates to release the rest of us having to see 95 Red Rangers on every Walmart trip. Buy these greatly articulated masterpieces before they sell out in 2098!

  8. Personally I will stick with Hasbro….. To bad their unmasked head scales are all over the place….. Various Tommy figures have a different size head

  9. Wow, a fully painted Dragon Dagger accessory. Hasbro has released it five times, yet none of them are fully painted, despite their claim of the Lightning Collection having “premium paint and decorative details.”

Fully painted figures. Fully painted accessories. Both yellow rangers in one release. Both putties in one release. Interchangeable dragon shields with bandless alternate arms. I’m impressed.

The special accessories like the power coin box, opened morphers and power crystals are fantastic.

  10. The Tyrannosaurus Dinozord is well worth the wait! That thing is gorgeous! I’m really looking forward to the other zords as well as what they do for Megazord should they release it.

Yellow Ranger needs her helmet fixed, ASAP. It’s almost perfect, the tiger fangs are positioned too close to the center of the visor. It’s amazing how this was okayed, when Green Ranger’s profile looks almost perfect. If the fangs were positioned just 1/4 of an inch away from where they are currently this would be the best looking Yellow Ranger helmet for sure!

I love the bandless arms for Green. Finally we can at long last display a “Gung Ho” Green Ranger without the shield and his arm bands. I guess Red Ranger will have the same treatment? Not saying he’ll have a shield but a set of arms with gold bands and maybe an alternate belt with Green Ranger holster for his armored mode?

The 1994 Bandai inspired weapons are cute nostalgia filler pieces but I was most impressed with the other episode centric accessories like the jerseys on the putties, the power crystals, the heat ray, and the Sword of Power to name a few. The ability to change the Putties from Rita putties to Zedd putties is pretty ingenious even though the suits for both are completely different in color.

The release of alternate heads for both Aisha and Trini (who looks amazingly like the late Ms. Trang) is great for collectors not wanting to buy two of the same ranger to secure a different head like we have with Hasbro’s Lightning collection.

  11. Preordered the Zord, thats it. Always wanted zords that were to scale with the villains. No need for the rest, not hardcore enough to nitpick about paint apps. Hasbros LC has filled my MMPR for a much cheaper price, with higher articulation. unpainted “flip head style” weapons arent exactly enough to justify being 3 times more expensive than hasbro. Those ranger headsculpts are pretty bad looking and army building $55 putties does not sound appealing. Ill stick to S7 TMNT ultimates.

  12. I understand Brian’s logic behind single hinge knees and elbows. However I think this particular property needs the extra articulation of double hinge knees and elbows. That’s a huge negative for me.

I also don’t understand the need for this line of figures. I have great versions already from S.H. Figuarts, Hasbro’s Lightning Collection, and the upcoming Threezero 12″ figures. I really don’t need another line/scale despite the number of accessories. I’m down for the Green and White MMPR Rangers because that’s the focus of my Power Rangers collection but I’m not all in for the entire line like I am with other Super7 Ultimates. I’ll be good with Tommy hanging out with the Thundercats and Silverhawks.

  13. The lack of articuation aside, these figures look great. I love the deep cuts with items from past episodes or from the original toy line. Plus the alternate heads like on the Yellow Ranger is much better than having to hunt down another figure from Hasbro.
