Bandai S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball Super: Broly

Broly is one of the many releases rolling out of Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line of action figures. Now, as you all know, I love me huge chunks of plastic PVC, POM and ABS, Broly does not disappoint.

Broly is from the latest Dragon Ball movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Broly as mentioned before is a Saiyan, same race, planet as Goku. They’ve got some history, the original Broly hated Goku because he cried and cried as a baby, this version of Broly, he’s been recruited by Frieza and he’s just out to beat the hell out anyone.

Broly is a new sculpt and does it look amazing. Bandai really nailed the sculpt, the overall design is a great update from the classic Broly and the new figure is too. It’s freaking huge and looks amazing on shelf with the other Dragon Ball figures. There’s so much amazing detail in the sculpt, specially in the hair and the furry skirt.

Broly comes with extra faces and extra hands. It’s not a lot of accessories, and quite honestly, not necessary. The ginormity of Broly is accessory enough, the beautiful sculpt is accessory enough and the playability is accessory enough. Extra pack-ins don’t really do anything to enhance the overall experience.

Broly was not a cheap pick-up, but then S.H. Figuarts these days are not cheap pick-ups. But the quality of this figure makes it a must have, even though he is a movie figure he’s still worth every single penny. I highly recommend this figure for anyone wanting a big, giant, over the top fun toy for their collection.

Good luck finding one, he’s long sold out!
