“Boss, is that…you?”
I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this. It now appears that LinToys, a company that has thus far made some beautiful highly detailed 1/6 figures based on Metal Gear Solid V, have turned their attention to my scale. And what we’ve seen so far is absolutely stunning.
What we know is a bit less stunning- so far, this is just being teased with price and availability coming soon. Which makes this post probably obsolete by the time it goes up, but at least we have a start. These look to be part of a “Limini” sub-line.
It looks like there might be at least 3 options sets for “Aehab” from the promos; there is the “A++,” “B++,” and “S++” versions, all in tiger stripe camo, with different levels of accessories. The accessories range from the NVGs, to gas mask, to the infamous chicken hat, cigars, weapons, and so on. If they are anything like the 1/6 versions, which included individual cassette tapes, I don’t see any version as being light on gear. Which ever version includes the little DD pup is my must-purchase, though.
And there might be additional accessories to purchase as well, like… a Fulton recovery balloon with sheep?? baaaaaaa-!
This is blowing my mind. It’s tough to judge any kind of relative scale at this point, but even the in-hand pics make Boss feel bigger than the usual import sized figures. I don’t even care about price point. Normally, I try to wait out new companies a little, after getting burned on the CooModel Knights, but there’s no sitting this one out for me.
