eBay Frenzy 02/10/19: Custom Marvel Legends, Star Wars, and a DC

Here we are, seeing some new toys from Wonder Festival, on the cusp of Toy Fair next weekend, and I’m still spending a lazy Sunday looking at customs on eBay. It’s different though, admiring the artistic expression of individuals and daydreaming about those characters on my shelf too.

Totally different.

You wanna deck out your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in style? A bit expensive but these weapons look smooth!

Love the use of the base parts for this Deathstroke. Streamlined but far from plain.

Here, I don’t care for the older Hasbro base body, especially the articulation scheme, but I dig the hell out of the look and paintwork on this Iceman.

I completely expect an X-Force Deathlok to be a thing in the future but seeing it in custom form gives an excellent example of what we may get. And if not, well, here ya go.

I’ve said it many a time, any character with a clean black and white color scheme is welcome on my shelf and this Black Tarantula is exactly that. Clean. And, well, black and white. But CLEAN!

Outlander 4 Life, and I need a Sharad Hett in my display.

We’ve gotten a few great Juggernauts over the years, how the hell do we not have a Black Tom yet?

Same applies here. We’ve gotten great Daredevils, why the hell haven’t we….oh, Mr. Fear may not be as popular as Bullseye or Kingpin or a lot of other DD rogues. I’ll give you that. But it’s color palette would definitely stand out against the rest of the shelf and I just like the overall look.

SUGAR BEAR!

I’m a sucker for a good concept Mandalorian armor.

I already have my comic Dr. Strange but this Necromancer look intrigues me.

Anole came along after I was out of comics but I’ve seen and heard so much about the character that I gotta stop and look when I run across customs. While it’s a teeny bit rough, the presentation here is awesome. I would definitely put this on my shelf.

I have no words. I never thought I’d see a Cerise this perfectly translated from page to plastic, but….there it is.
