Marvel Legends is definitely the most prevalent category when you’re searching for customs on eBay. Easy there, other scales, I’m totally talking 6-inch. Maybe it’s just the sheer variety of bases and parts and pieces? I do find some gems from other properties but there’s definitely a skew. Maybe I shouldn’t search “custom Marble Leggings”? Anyway, this week my ’80s comic love is showing. Apparently, the bigger the hair, the more I want it.

I can totally (without scrolling up, I think this is the second time I’ve used “totally” in this fashion. I really do have my mindset in the past today) see this Crystal releasing in the Walgreens Fantastic Four assortment. A boy can hope, right?
I know we just got an official version in Marvel Legends but Domino has had quite a few looks and I can’t help wanting more. I’m selfish like that. Accurate or not, I love this custom. Plus an alternate head with a different hairstyle? You’re spoiling me!

I realize this Iron Fist is at least half officially released Iron Fist, but the other half looks so good and then the crazy good paint job slapped on top of it? Niiiiiice. Everything blends together so well. I’m looking at the Iron Fist on my shelf right now and telling it to…well…kids may be reading this.
Finally, there is Malice. Pure ’80s goodness Malice. She’s possessed other people but I’ll always remember her in Polaris’ body. Mostly for that hair. Now that I see it rendered in three dimensions I realize how dumb it really is from a design aspect. But it’s awesomely, radically, amazingly, fantastically dumb is the best way possible. Again, I may have a problem.
