They got me again. Now that the official solicitation for the Medicom MAFEX Batman 3.0 has hit I gotta pre-order it. In fact, I already did.
Because…action figures. I know it’s MAFEX. I know it won’t look like the promo shots and may have a couple of QC issues. But it looks so goooooooood. And MAFEX has been improving, so we’ll see. I have the SHF Batman on it’s way to me by Pony Express and it may be awesome but it’ll eat away at my soul if I don’t compare and pick the best one. Plus, I have to think that this will scale better with the new MAFEX Catwoman, Joker, and Bane.

This is a brand new sculpt, head to toe. The paints have also been updated.
The MAFEX Batman The Dark Knight Rises version does indeed come with three heads: Hate you, hate you more, and submarine vision.
The weapon load-out is impressive too. Grapnel, sticky bomb gun, EMP rifle, batarang. All enough to take out the villains of Gotham City.
Batman 3.0 is running about $56 and will release in March 2018. I typed 2017 at first, thinking it was next year and so far away, then realized we’re living in 2017 and getting pre-orders I we made a year ago. Again, this hobby…
