It looks like a Figure-rise Standard Dragon Ball model kit is sneaking out onto the market, and it may NOT be available to the Japanese market? How crazy is that?
When I saw the pics of Super Saiyan God Goku scroll across my Facebook feed with the words “Figure-rise” I got excited. And I still am, because it’s not an overseas exclusive. Unless you live in Japan, which does make this an overseas exclusive.

The kit is essentially a re-release of the original Super Saiyan Goku but with blue hair and eyebrows. The body also saw reuse with SS3 Goku and then the soon-to-be-released normal Goku also sports it. In fact, this and OG Son Goku nearly release at the same time.
It also includes the same effects. I’m going to need a dedicated Kamehameha drawer soon.
Super Saiyan God Son Goku is running about $30 on both BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth and will release in August or September.
