Hasbro’s annual Preview Night for New York Comic Con did not disappoint. They showed the entire “Red Skull Onslaught” wave of Marvel Legends, which includes:
Captain America (classic comic Cap with werewolf alt head)
Sharon Carter (white, Brubaker era)
Whirlwind (yes!!!)
Taskmaster
Mockingbird
Cottonmouth (he uses the large, Sabertooth body)
Scourge
Build-a-Figure Red Skull Onslaught.
The BIG NEWS was the Rogue figure they also showed. She will be in a different wave in 2016, as will the alternate Onslaught (Magneto) head. The head may not necessarily come packed with Rogue, but they will be in the same wave. And make no mistake — that alt head is NOT part of another BaF; it’s meant for that Red Skull Onslaught. It will merely be a pack in with a figure. The BaF for that upcoming wave will be something else entirely, and I’m told it will make us “sh*!t our pants.”
And there is LOTS more to come in 2016. Movie stuff? Yes. Retailer exclusives? Yes. In fact, I’m told that there will be more 6-inch Marvel stuff in 2016 than ever before.
