eBay Frenzy: Custom Marvel Legends, DCUC, and Star Wars

Custom Marvel Legends 14 BAF Groot comic book style based on Sara Pichelli art Featured

It’s another lazy Sunday, browsing eBay and checking out some excellent custom action figures that have popped up over the past week!

Polaris has done very well in past ML Top Ten votes, and she’s one of my most wanted X-women, so seeing this custom just makes me smile. That crazy “I want that noooooow” smile. You know what I’m talking about. Such a simple recipe but the colors are nailed here. C’mon Hasbro!

I thought I was okay with the official DCUC release but this Constantine just takes it right over the top. It even has a Zippo. And that group shot. Mmmmm.

We featured richor409’s 1:12 scale Jedi robes in an article a while back, but now he’s back with some new accessories. First off is a new robe for the Black Series Yoda.

Your prototype Boba Fett looking a little plain? How about a Mandalorian beach towel?

And then your Black Widow can be the height of fashion with a new leather jacket.

Also on the accessories list are these repainted Nick Fury and Punisher heads. I’m a big fan of 5 o’clock shadow and these repaints spruce up the factory heads nicely.

Conan. We need a good Conan.

I know we’re getting a Scarlet Spider in the next Spider-Man series but this custom Ben Reilly is too good to not include. The smiling half masked head totally does it for me.

The Human Fly isn’t a character I know a lot about. I remember him from covers in the comic shop back in the day though, and this custom hits it out of the park.

We’re getting a comic style Guardian of the Galaxy boxset late this summer but this custom Groot goes the extra mile. Just absolutely fantastic!

Wait, Guardians of the Galaxy? We need a movie Nebula! And this custom does a damn fine job of showing us what it would look like.

Obligatory Deadpool: This is a 1:6 scale head of ol’ Wade but I need this for a 1:12 scale figure. NEED.

I feel as though we’ve never gotten that perfect Damian Wayne. Too weird looking, hardly any articulation. But this Robin makes an attempt at the gold and makes me want one even worse.

I never thought I’d see a Living Monolith. I was wrong. This custom is so clean, I can’t even stand it. And I mean that in the best way possible.

Finally, a Star Wars Death Trooper. I was out of the scene when this concept came about I guess, but with the Walking Dead kicking and my renewed love and current hype for Star Wars I guess this makes sense. And it looks great. The poses really make the piece.
