Hey, I’m going to ramble on about Star Wars model kits again. Big surprise, right?
I’m excited about C-3PO. I really am. This is the first model kit that will be released that we don’t already have from Hasbro’s Black Series. We do already have a Revoltech version but I passed on that, knowing that this was coming. And man, the more pictures I see, the more I’m glad I waited. Nothing against the Revo but do I love me some shiny chrome and gold.
First, the box. Which will hopefully be in my greedy hands within a few weeks.
And also some new promo shots. We’ve seen them in smaller pics but here they are bigger and on a neutral background,
And then there are what look to be final product shots. THat chrome looks to have made it through to the final product.
With the model R2 looking clean I’m good with a shiny 3PO. May need another to dirty up though.
Now that we have the R2 in hand and know that he’s nearly perfect scale, this side-by-shot makes me think C-3PO will be nearly just as perfect.
