It’s Sunday! Time to log in to everyone’s favorite, or not so favorite, auction site and peruse some customs. Tonight is filled with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel Legends, and even some WWE for a little change of pace.
But before all of those, here’s a Masters of The Universe Classics “Kryn-Jor” custom that is a pretty easy but delightful concept that’s right up my alley.
Ever look at your display and think “Man, the shelf would look much better with some fat stacks of money“? Bam, here you go.
This TMNT Rocksteady could take out all four Turtles all by his lonesome. Jacked!
We need more Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, especially Stonewall! This custom is a little buff for my tastes but still beautifully done.
I found two very nice WWE Finn Balor customs in his Venom look, here and here, and both should be since they are by the some customizer. Besides the clean paints, what stands out to me is how great the solid black looks with the skin texture underneath. I love it.
TMNT Slash is probably just a pipe dream in the Playmates Classics line, but I’d like to think he would look a little like this.
These two freak me out but in a good way. Mostly. Marvel Legends Mystique morphing into both Beast and Nightcrawler.
I am not a big fan of the Jim Lee era of X-men but I’m man enough to admit that a good Rogue in the mid-90s duds is a big hole on the shelf.
I haven’t kept up with wrestling in a long time. I was a big WCW guy before it ended and one of my favorites was the Flock. So when I saw this custom Raven it reminded me of better times. Or at least a little nostalgia. Plus Punisher shirts are always a win.
To me, Classic Sunfire is an even bigger hole than any Jim Lee costumed character. To each his own! Excellent use of the Bandai Burning Effect too.
Finally, a Classics scaled TMNT Krang.
Nice sculpt and paint, perfect size. But what’s interesting about this auction is the pic of Krang with a Classic style Shredder.
