So I’ve been thinking about a Jim Lee Cyke for a while. I’m not certain how to do all of it or if I’ll do a variation, more than likely a variation. See, I’m thinking Hydra Soldier plus X-Men Classics Cyke would make an easy figure to paint. Indy mentions to me that using Hit Monkey Archangel would require less painting, some easy parts swapping and voila. I’d use the hands from Wolverine Legends Cyclops.
Of course there are the boot straps, thigh straps, wrist straps and glove straps to consider. And I’m almost tempted to scratch them and go for some modern day variation. The only question is do I sacrifice my X-Men Classics Cyke’s head or get a cast and throw Cyke out for trade? I’m kerbaffled on the chest strap, it would require a whole new sculpt, there is nothing out there resembling Cyke’s chest strap. Using Hydra’s chest strap would be easy, and it’s ready for painting an “X” on it.
