Bandai has released final images and pricing info for their first two 1/12 scale Star Wars model kits, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. Darth Vader releases in November and the Stormtrooper drops in December. They are both SRP’d for $22. I keep double checking that price but 2400 yen converts to $22. Incredible. That puts them completely into budget, even if for nothing but fodder to bash your ultimate Vader. Maybe the Trooper is a little shorter than the Hasbro Black Series for that Luke look. Either way, I’m now stoked. These will be mine.
