Star Wars was out in force this preview night with striking displays from Kotobukiya, Hasbro and Jakks.
Kotobukiya had this dazzling display of what looked at first glance like a massive army of Star Wars Black series Storm Troopers. They turned out to be unarticulated statues, but impressive (most impressive) all the same.
Jakks had some more of their low-articulated giant sized figures on display. The Boba Fett looked especially tempting.
The Black Series figures we already know about were on display. I have to say, in person, Vader is far better looking than in any photos I’ve seen. He also looks huge! I have high hopes for this figure.
Hasbro also showed off a bunch of Rebels figures and some smaller, lower articulated figures. They also had a larger sized X-Wing that looked to be similar to the recent Falcon reveal in that you don’t put figures in it. Almost looks big enough for some Black Series customizing, though.
Finally, Star Wars Rebels had a huge photo-op with life sized figures of the main characters.
