The Diamond Select booth had some cool stuff including new Marvel Selects, tons of mini-mates and a lot of Jay and Silent Bob Strike back toys.
Cable and Carnage were on display and I thought the Cable was looking very good. He’s one of those designs I don’t care for on paper, but makes for a nice looking toy.
They had a bunch of mini-mates from properties like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Alien, Ninja Turtles and Mass Effect. I’m impressed that they made a Burke figure. That’s got to be the only Paul Reiser figure that will ever be made.
They also had a few nice Batman ’66 busts and some Pony banks for the Bronies.
Closest to this ’90s teenager’s heart was the excellent Jay and Silent Bob Figures. These are really well sculpted and look to have full articulation. They even had Bluntman and Chronic and their arch-nemesis Cocknocker! I’d like a Brodie figure in this style next, please. I also like all the ancillary stuff like Mooby banks and mugs.
Last but not least, they had this impressive Robby the Robot on display.
