Jek Porkins SDCC 2014 Ex. Mini Bust
Jek Tono Porkins was a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who, along with the other Bestines, was forced to abandon his homeworld when the Galactic Empire chose it as the site of a new military base. Seeking the opportunity to strike back at the Empire, Porkins joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic. After completing pilot training, he was assigned to Red Squadron and given the call sign Red Six. He fought heroically, but was killed in action over the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin. Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd., the SDCC 2014 Exclusive Jek Porkins Mini Bust features the cult-favorite pilot in his signature flight suit and helmet (with removable visor), wielding a Blaster. R2-KT SDCC 2014 Ex. Maquette
R2-KT was created by Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st Legion, master droid builder Jerry Greene and the R2 Builders Club, for Johnson’s daughter Katie (the ‘KT’ in the droid’s name is a tribute to her). In real life, R2-KT makes appearances at children’s hospitals, Star Wars Celebration and charity events in the southeastern United States. In the Star Wars universe, the character had a cameo in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, and has been made an official part of the universe’s canon. Gentle Giant Ltd. is excited to realize our own incarnation of this character with the R2-KT Maquette.
