Yesterday a picture leaked out from ThreeA Toys for their upcoming 1/12 2000AD line, the picture, Judge Death. A year ago I wrote an article about needing more 2000AD toys, the depth of characters, the long history and the visuals just demand that a good toy company take up the torch and run with it! ThreeA Toys is doing just that. And based on the teaser pic?
I’m super excited. There will be comparisons to the earlier Toy Biz release of Dredd and Death, it’s unavoidable. The teaser picture reveals that ThreeA Toys will be handling this property with the respect that it needs. Death looks awesome. But there are questions that need to be answered! Will this line feature cloth clothes like previous Action Portable releases? Is this some kind of rubber body with an articulated frame? No one knows at the time of this writing. For now, enjoy the tease!
