Over on the figma Facebook page they posted pictures of the upcoming Nanase Haruka figure from the popular anime series Free! I’ve never see the anime, but my interest is peaked as there are very few TV shows about competitive swimmers. Being a retired swimmer I’ve got somewhat of an interest in the subject. On top of that the very idea of having swimming action figures is really cool. They should branch out from the anime and make vintage swimmers, Mark Spitz, Matt Biondi, Tom Jager, Micheal Phelps, and many more! Yeah nerd moment. Until then I can live with figma’s Free! figures, they look good and kinda fill a strange need.
No information on pre-orders on the usual sites at this time. figma also updated their blog with information about the girls driving a Panzer tank, the ones from Girls und Panzer, another popular anime. Miho Nishizumi is available on AmiAmi for preorder.
