It looks like our friends and Fwoosh Sponsor BigBadToyStore has released pictures and preorder info for Unique Toys UT-D01 Salmoore, or to the common man, Gobots Renegade leader CyKill. I wasn’t nearly into Gobots as I was Transformers back in the day but I remember the biggies. I think I even had CyKill and some dude with a drill bit for a head, or the drill acted as a hood that swung up over the head. Like I said, wasn’t into Gobots. The toys seemed more simplistic than what we had with most TFs, and if I remember right there wasn’t as much size differences between the characters.
Still, this is one fine looking piece of third party robot. Are there plans for a Leader-1? Leader-1, who also happens to be the only other Gobots character I can name off the top of my head but falls into my collecting habit of buying only leaders from toy lines that I don’t really want to get into hardcore.
The listing says that he’s TF Voyager size, while other sources around the net claims he’ll be the size of Transformers Masterpiece Prowl. MUCH better sizing than back in the day, eh? He’ll also have chrome pipes, rims, and what looks to be most of the engine.
