The Super Bowl is tomorrow! And I have no clue what’s going on. I don’t know who’s playing, where it’s happening, what channel it will be on, nothing. Never was much of a sports guy. I have absolutely nothing against it, it just never tickled my fancy. But, Super Bowl means movie trailers and commercials. Which I will watch on YouTube afterwards. I know, I know, I am a bad Southerner. I have other things to do! It’s Happy Hour!
In case you missed it, here’s the teaser for Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer that will premiere tomorrow!
This also popped up this week. Our first look at Batroc the Leaper:
Not bad at all! His comic colors are represented nicely and he’s pulling some fancy footwork on Cap. But where is the mustache? Travesty!
Also during the Super Bowl look for trailers for Transformers: Age of Extinction and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
We got a glimpse of toys to come from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie!
Fwoosher Discogod assured us that these are the 12 inchers and that they were in fact pretty crappy. He swears the 6 inchers are much better so I await looks at those. Like I said when the movie looks first appeared, I’m good with these and look forward to having them in toy form.
No, I’m not just saying that.
There was a very, very quick teaser for X-Men: Days of Future Past!

You know, I’d be good with young and old Magneto with young and old Xavier, just chatting for 2 hours. Call it “X-Men: Four Badasses Blabbering On.” Make it so, people that make movies!
I saw this pop up in news from Toy Fair Nürnberg 2014 and I couldn’t help thinking of something else.
Okay, dudes, lay off. I’m not up on my import toys or what goes on overseas in the world of action figures. I saw a pic of one and thought of the other. I’m sure there was some inspiration action going on. I’m also looking forward to adding Godzilla to my Marvel shelves.
And then there’s this…
Uh oh, Wolverine is about to get the clap!
I can’t remember where I found this fantastic custom piece, but the biggest reason I saved the images was because of the paintwork and the blood/water effects. Awesome stuff.
Happy Hour’s over!
