We are making an update to the fwoosh network, specifically the e-zine. This is a temporary look for the Fwoosh but a step in a direction that we want to take as we’ve recently updated the other sites in the active Fwoosh network:
We wanted to take the time to update the Fwoosh as well. This is a format change and one that we hope to build on.
Temporary Look
We are making the switch with the knowledge that this is temporary, as it is necessary for us to create a synergy, a standard across the network, especially during the heavy con season. We debated holding off, but this weekend we were able to configure the new look to traditional Fwoosh elements and chose to go live.
In addition, this new look is based off standard functionality, the only changes are configurable looks. This makes it easier for the admin staff to make changes and improvements.
This new look has no impact on the forum and current functionality built into the e-zine today.
Permanent Look
There is no estimate as to when we will have a permanent look for the Fwoosh. We are currently engaging with a professional web designer and have provided them with a list of requirements. We will let you know as soon as possible when the final change will occur.
