This week’s featured custom is JRNorth’s Egg Fu!
Grant Morrison and co. gave the old Wonder Woman villain a makeover that is a little more racially sensitive and a heck of a lot creepier in the pages of the weekly comic series 52. JRNorth did an amazing job capturing that look here.
The face is completely sculpted over a foam egg. I love the detail in all the little cracks and those craggy little teeth. The bright yellow sheen of the shell is also really nasty – just as it should be.
The harness and spider legs are also a thing of beauty – based on a clearanced building block set and so many different plastic bits even JRNorth isn’t sure what’s all on there. Click the pics for a link to JRNorth’s thread in our custom galleries.
