The action figure community exploded a couple of days ago when some subscribers received the upcoming issue of Toyfare a week early – it contains the reveal of the lineup for DC Universe Classics wave 12 that should arrive at retail after an interminably long wait of 4 to 5 months, in the 1st quarter of 2010. Wave 12 will contain Copperhead, DeSaad, Eclipso, Iron, Mary Marvel, Doctor Mid-Nite, and the Spectre. A newly-sculpted Darkseid will be the collect and connect figure.
While this lineup has been heavily rumored for some time – I think intrepid investigators are successfully mining the Wal-Mart computer systems and their friendly neighborhood or online retailers – there was still at least one surprise in store.
