Here’s the latest Q&A with the Hasbro JOE team, with questions submitted by Ray. Thanks, guys!
1. Do you plan on doing classic repaints of the SNAKE armor Snake Trax ATV. It would be really awesome to get the Blue and Black Cobra Ferret ATV, and classic grey SNAKE armor. I’m buying 1 black SNAKE armor but I’d buy 10 if they were offered in the original grey color scheme.
Unfortunately, there are no plans at this time.
2. Why were desert versions of Footloose, Law & Order, over the regular versions of them in the box set? With the focus on the movie it seems like it would have been a nice bone to throw to classic fans who haven’t been getting that much.
Great question, but our focus this year has been movie and the movie styling color pallet.
3. Are you guys able to use other Hasbro lines tooling? Like the marvel universe hydra figure uses the 25th v1 snake eyes straps. So does that mean you guys could borrow some of their stuff if need be and vice versa? Cause the 25th quick kick would make the perfect marvel comics Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu figure.
The Hasbro teams usually do not borrow from each other as each line has their own style and articulation. On occasion (Suited Cobra Commander from the Indy line) we do swap tooling. Another factor is that all of our figures are not necessarily in the same factories and that adds to the complexity.
