CC20: Steampunk Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back

Here is Sillof’s follow up to the popular Steampunk Star Wars line in
the last CustomCon.  This time Sillof is taking on the Empire Strikes
Back with his Steampunk revisioning.  Steampunk is a quasi futuristic
fantasy setting with amazing technologies with antiquated design
elements, think Jules Vern.

The line is 6” in scale and each figure was carefully sketched out and
redesigned taking a few key classic elements of the original figures
and blending them with classic steampunk elements and design.

Snowtrooper
This design uses the Steampunk stormtrooper as the starting point and
then incorporates the elements of the snowtrooper such as the skirt and
facemask.  He also has a large backpack for the harsh climates.

Tie Fighter Pilot
Once again the Steampunk stormtrooper armor is recognizable here, just
in a darker color.  He less armored then his frontline compatriots and
has air hoses hooked up to a regulator and control box on his chest.

Boba Fett
Everyone’s favorite bounty hunter is always a touch design.  His leg
and forearm armor has kept the ornate feel of the stormtrooper armor,
but the chest armor has a more riveted industrial feel.  While Fett’s
“T” visor is iconic, this design keeps in line with the rounder goggles
that have become a staple of the line, while the red strip down the
middle hints at the old “T” design.  His forearm weapons feature a
mini-crossbow and a working retractable blade.  The Surcoat is
reminiscent of Fett’s cloak.  His rocketpack is still there just in a
larger more industrial model.

Dengar
Originally this bounty hunter’s movie armor look like a cobbled
together piecemeal collection of different types of armor.  I tried to
incorporate the bandaged look with turban-esque helmet.  His weapon is
in keeping with the look of all the weapons in these lines.  These
bounty hunters are all supposed to have a very dirty grimy appearance.

IG-88
The tall skeletal robot assassin was a very interesting design.  This
version is made of girders and gears with a head that looks like a
Victorian lantern.

4-LOM
The outfit for the movie version was a modified suit of 3PO armor.  So
this version is very similar to the Steampunk C-3PO just with a custom
head and a little more of an edge.

Bossk
This reptilian bounty hunter is now in a larger more industrial space suit and his lizard like features have been played up.

Zuckuss
This gasmasked bounty hunter with the insectoid helmet has just been
slightly modiefied to fit in with the Victorian redesign of the line

Lando Calrissian
The smooth gentleman gambler has been transformed into his Victorian
double.  Keeping the classic blue, orange, and black color scheme but
applying it to a formal jacket, vest, and dress shirt.
