Dorkside Toys financial issues/future discussion

I’ve always had great experiences with Dorkside. I’m sad to see them go under because it was a great option for army building or buying big orders.

They also supposedly shipped my Action Force Dorkside Exclusive Infantry Commando on November 21st, but there has been no movement of any kind on it since November 26th.

Hate that people may not get their money back from preorders in all of this. Didn't know any of this was going on with the company, but did notice that they stopped having marvel legends and Joe preorders up which was weird after the last few Hasbro releases came out.

well my ideas were formed by the stories she released & the trial that happened where her stories/claims were being dismantled as soon as any scrutiny was applied. The great revelation was that in both this relationship & a prior one she was an abuser. The testimony by Dr. Curry was also telling, although I'm sure as a professional you're a greater judge of that & my being swayed by her is because I "have absolutely no idea what the [email protected]" was relayed in that testimony. I think people like her & Jussie Smollett are scum for taking real shit & making a circus of it for personal gain & with malicious intent. But then again I am known to just spew "ignorant garbage"

anyway -- back to Dorkside: I am curious for the user who was going to get the PayPal refund if it actually went through in their account or if it was just something Dorkside indicated *would* happen in an e-mail. I'm still waiting for a response, but they may have a different system of addressing e-mails at the moment due to volume

I can't let this pass. You've been dropping the "I'm a professional psychotherapist" on Fwoosh way too much, and telling everyone who disagrees with your personal opinions that they are ignorant and stupid... based on your insecure dropping of credentials. Stop doing that. You should know better.

Anyway, you're taking this controversial issue and CONFLATING it with proven cases of partner violence. The Heard-Depp legal dumpster fire is a bad example, a bad conflation, for you to get on your high horse with. Maybe use evidence and reason next time when attempting to argue, as opposed to trying to impress or suppress someone with empty rhetoric.

Anyway, Slixta is right. There's ample evidence in court records now to show what kind of person Heard is, and how honest she has been. Anyone projecting their virtue on her to champion a cause is in for a disappointing time.

I assume you're referring to me. Here is the e-mail sent from Paypal.

"Dorksidetoys Inc issued a $117.96 USD refund

We're refunding the money to your original payment method. If we're not able to complete the refund to that payment method, we'll refund it to your PayPal balance instead."

Honestly, I'm too lazy to check my credit card to see if it was actually refunded to my card but I feel confident that if Paypal says Dorkside issued a refund then it really happened.

I don't really want to get into this, but it's kind of important. The U.S. court system has [email protected]#$ up yet again. Heard had a lot more proof of domestic violence than most victims (through no fault of their own, to be clear). Depp's case will be used as precedent for decades to silence victims and punish those who speak out.

Again, these things really always come down to he said/she said. It's extremely difficult to "prove" domestic violence. There is no perfect victim.

The only real proof of genuine abuse in the whole dumpster fire spectacle is this.

There is an audio file, recorded by Heard, which anyone can find right now with just a few search words. (It's better if people find it on their own, so they can educate themselves). The file was denied presentation in court, due to a technicality. Which is unfortunate because it could have ended the trial early in favour of Depp. The file is of her, with Depp, with doctors and nurses, and a body guard. In the audio, Heard says she attacked Depp by throwing a booze bottle right at him. But it was an accident, she claimed, after feeling the guilt that she did it. The bottle smashed into shards where he was gripping a counter. The attack sliced the end of his finger right off... exactly how Depp explained later in court. The doctor also said it shattered the bone. The audio captures the doctor's comments: She did it. She just admitted it. She is guilty. This is real violence. They give her anti-psychotic medication, the pills she'd been given many times before.

Heard later said, she was also getting medical aid because Depp (allegedly) attacked her. Abusers naturally summon such defenses especially when the shadow of guilt falls upon them. Except all the medical attention was on Depp, who clearly had a hand injury the next day he was photographed. Whereas she was documented as looking healthy and unmarked. Depp, under her control at the time, and under the control of his addictions and abusive past, covered up the crime. The abused tend to hide the crimes of their abusers, most especially abused men who had been abused in their formative years. Reminds me of an old friend whose psycho ex wife violently attacked him multiple times (I saw it at least twice, and intervened the 2nd time). He was so ashamed that it took years to finally get away from her and get some real help and a new life. Even then, using the children, she soaked him for every penny she could get.

Another confession of abuse on Heard's part is when she said in court that she had hit Depp on another occasion, and called him a baby afterward because he complained. That's in court records.

The third example of Heard's abuse is psychological. There's a few audio files presented in court where Heard is being very verbally abusive to Depp, really going after him. Less vulnerable men would have just booted her ass right out of the house after the 1st or 2nd incident. It's disgusting to listen to Heard in these files. The energy she put into dehumanizing him shows that she was trying to break him down, explore his vulnerabilities, belittle his talent and success, belittle his entire self-hood, take advantage of his addiction flaws, and set him up... for what came next.

Have fun conflating Heard with real victims.

Anyone who ordered through them for All Stars wave 5 is advised that that's over.
