The more I look at it, I am not sure Sim needs a screaming head, he's never really had that look. Would have preferred a normal head and a fire spitting puffed up head which was always very comical and unique to him.
This feels like a miss opportunity get us sprite accurate sculpts which I would prefer more than generic screaming faces.

Re: Jada Toys Street Fighter Line!
Yeah, I was saying before that I'd prefer some heads that actually give off each character's personality. Like, win poses expressions would be perfect. Screams are useful but a bit boring.

I preordered the special edition UM Frankenstein monster with table and their 1/18th scale The Batman Batmobile with lights, and I think those were less than 6 month preorders.
Re: Jada Toys Street Fighter Line!
This WAS posted a page back by Veebs.
I'd say the preorders are likely coming soon.VeeBee wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 7:28 pmJada does not typically offer protracted timelines on their pre-orders. If you pay attention to the UM line, the pre-orders for those are generally offered closer to release date. For example - Wolfman and Invisible Man were offered at the end of July, and I have gotten the "soon to hit your POL" email from BBTS. So, I don't count on these being a hasbro "pre-order it now and see it in a year" type of thing.
I am betting we see SF and MM series 1 pre-orders really soon as those were estimated as spring 2023 for release.

Yeah, I hope they KEEP with this model. I prefer preordering something and knowing it'll come some time soon. Not having to know and preorder and wait for something for a year or two.

Re: Jada Toys Street Fighter Line!
That's a really cool custom. I hope Jada is reading and taking this feedback in. What's going to really make these is recreating the look.
This is no different than how people clamor for a McFarlane Spider-Man or a Jim Lee Psylocke. It's that very distinct look and feel that people are so nostalgic and attached to, and less so over having generic representations of them.
I've said it before, but I would also want to see beaten up variants and not just p2 swaps, which isn't as desirable for me personally. I am only really attached to white Bison, Purple Sim, white trunks Sagat and powder blue Ryu. Mostly the SF2 Turbo colors.

Oh yea, these are awesome. Agree with everyone that the screaming head for Dhalsim is a miss though.
I’m sure we will get the fire heads with alternate colors.

Re: Jada Toys Street Fighter Line!
What's funny and ironic about sim coming with a screaming head is that he's a yoga master who practices inner calm so when he fights he doesn't express anger. So the screaming angry head contradicts his existence as a fighter.
With that said the screaming head at least looks decent.
What I'm not feeling with this new reveal is Bison. He's more alpha style thicc than the distinguished dictator from world warriors that was skinnier and more sleek. Really disappointing actually as an og bison has never been done before.
Does anyone know if there were any new reveals for series 1? Still waiting to see Ryu's calm face

These all look super (turbo)!
I'm particularly excited for Dhalsim, and think the head sculpt looks great.
Edit: It was bugging me where I'd seen angry Dhalsim before. It's the character select screen for SFVI

Not too impressed with Ken for some reason, I think it's the hair. I also didn't like that about the Storm version.
But I might try to sneak in Dhalsim into my Storm display, I already have more than enough fire effects from other figures for him. Head and expression on him look good.

I never liked that fight screen for the same reason. But great find on the open mouth sprite, that one I didn't know! I had to go back to the game to see for myself and sure enough if you pay close attention you could see it!S.W.O.R.D. Agent wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 11:43 amThese all look super (turbo)!

Looking good. I want to see more fighting poses and the accessories. Packaged shots would be nice too. I’m curious if the package will have a nostalgia look to it.

They could package these in brown paper bags, I'd still buy them.
