"Be careful with these Tau, Jean-Luc. They're like the best and the worst of you humans and the Vulcans rolled into one."

"I'll... bear that in mind, Guinan; thank you."

I have only vague memories of the originals, but I think these new Manglors look great!

Did Maglord sell out already? I'm literally finding out about this for the first time.

Mordles were the first to sell out, followed by the primitive and the Manglord. Pics of what was dropped: https://glyos.fandom.com/wiki/Manglors. From ToyFinity’s social media accounts, it sounds like the Manglord will see a re-release at some point.

Damn. That was fast. I wouldn't mind picking one up, but I'm not going to go nuts trying to get one. It would have been an impulse buy for me.

How are those Lost Planet figures? I just stumbled upon them on a different site.

I'm a fan of the LPs but recognize they have some flaws. Their torso jointage is largely pointless, their hands are generally too rubbery for a good grip on the *definitely* too rubbery weapons, and the facepaint ain't that great.

On the other hand, the EX-NEVEC Trooper is one of my fave figures in a long time simply due to the super-bitchin' design. The Wanderer lady is one of the best basic female bucks I've ever handled, and pretty much the *only* 18th figure in existence that can cross her legs ankle over ankle. The weird hip-wader pieces aren't glued in place and fall away easily, and she looks better without them. Her head is sadly too small to be properly human so I swapped in an MTF head (and hands) and now she's nearly perfect.

I didn't get the big mech but I did get the li'l speeder/walker and it's better as a speeder. It's captured *really* well by Toy Notch but it's not such a great design, imho. The legs need to bend backwards instead of forwards, imho.

Toy Notch put a LOT of effort into the line and it shows in several places; but the combo of their newness to 18th figures and the relative obscurity of the Lost Planet game hampered them.

I'd recommend getting the Wasteland Wandered to sample the line in the assumption she'll be the one you like best.

Got my Manglors, Mordles and GitD egg today. The Manglord mold is really nice! Lots of crisp details, just a slight pre-pose and the height is great. The democrusher arm is awesome. The Manglosaurian warrior might be favorite though, with the simpler color scheme and extra arms and head. They really do pair really well with the KotS perfect diver.

Am I the only for whom those figures are dead on arrival? How many attempts at recreating the Pursuit of COBRA line does the hobby need? How brown-on-brown-on-brown should figures from a line called Planet GREEN Valley be? C'mon, man; get to the *good* stuff you showed us that's never existed before in 30 previous toylines.
