Closing out the Age of Apocalypse

I was going over the list of expected waves for the next year and noticed that we actually have an AoA Wave 2 slated for September 2021. When was this uncovered? Is this legit? By legit, I mean as reliable as all of the other leaks we typically get. I'll obviously buy more AoA guys to add to the already impressive amount we have, but maaaaaaaaan, I was really hoping for a proper X-Wave this year.

As legit as it gets before Hasbro unveils the product. Our own tatooinesandworm reported it.

I'm also hoping for a general X wave this year, but I'm not overly optimistic. We already have two X waves on the books between House of X and AoA.

I believe there was a rumor that a villain wave for X-Men on retro cards would happen, or maybe it was just fan speculation.

One of the guys just said it would be cool to get magneto on one of the purple cards. There wasn't much more to it. Seems likely but id imagine it would be more of a fan channel thing and not so much a wave.

I mean, I'm certainly happy to have a pretty cool roster of AoA figures, but it just doesn't seem entirely necessary, especially when they already gave us just about everything we REALLLLLY need from the AoA with the last set. Sure, updated Nemesis and Sabretooth would be welcome, but aside from that, I'd prefer if they just continued to slip these variants into regular waves as opposed to giving us yet another strictly dedicated one. I was in the same boat with this House of X wave, too. Fun wave, cool figures, but just slide them in with some classics. We were certainly spoiled in 2019 and 2020 with X-Men stuff, buuuuuuut I'm greedy, and there's just so much left to do. >x-D

I would like an actual AOA Blink but will settle for just an alternate head if I have to. And Morph definitely needs another head sculpt as he did have serious looks and even pupils in many panels. Lava Lamp Shadow King goes without saying and should be a pack in with whatever deluxe Horseman we end up getting.

I 100% agree with wanting a AoA Blink, not a fan of the small chocker collar. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if they don't, not that big of a issue for me.

I was a little bit disappointed Shadow King didn't come with Apocalypse would've been a nice nod to the og Toybiz figure so Im all in for one or something similar.

Morph should have came with a few alternate heads

Im honesty ok with Weapon X, I happy he at least came with the extra hand

Nate and Jean are definitely lacking TK effect parts

what do you guys think are the chances we will see these tomorrow? I'm hoping Gambit is in the wave and even though it's a longshot Jubilee.

I don't think the Disney + wave will be up for preorder starting tomorrow since Falcon-Cap is still considered a spoiler. I think they will show the rest of the wave. Shang Chi and Eternals I think will also be teased/shown but not for PO yet either.

I wonder which waves will go up for PO. I'm hoping this one and the Comic Iron Man wave and the MCU anniversary sets.

If the rumors are true, I think they show the whole wave. These figures are scheduled to come out September or November I cant remember but if it true (fingers crossed) they should show them all

I wouldn't mind Jubilee either even though I didn't so much follow her AOA book. Your comment made me wonder though, WAS there an AOA version of Longshot?
