Marvel Legends:

Definitely NOT my idea, but G.I. Joe Classified Breaker's head as Jake Gyllenhaal:


Put an extra ball joint on 10th Anniversary Mark VII for an unhelmeted Tony head, which otherwise sat too low:


Gave Mystique Ultimate Green Goblin Wave Black Cat's heels:

(And gave the cat burglar Raven's flats.)

I did Robo's Reese custom (with special cameo by Robo! ):

G.I. Joe Classified Gung Ho's body, McFarlane Fortnite A.I.M.'s arms, and I've since replaced the McFarlane hands with Classified B.A.T.'s.
Can't wait for Bonebreaker!

Swapped Thanos forearms for an armored, non-Gauntletted version:

The cool thing is the bracer slides back off:

Also, hacked down a spare forearm to fit inside it so the Gauntlet can stand by itself (with the help of poster tack, haha):

I should make, like, a pedestal for it, but I definitely can't sculpt that well, and wouldn't know where to start looking for parts.

The MCU Ulysses Klaue body with Six-Armed Spider-Man forearms/hands for Xavier:

Literally just Prowler's head on Paladin's body, lol. Want to add some neon green, but no idea where (I know the rules say "No WIPs" - but this has been this level of "finished" since those figures came out).

Drilled a hole in Taskmaster's back to peg the shield in, and slid the bow & sword in between:

Transformers:

A piece of one of the blue explosion effects gave Perceptor his eyepiece (and CHUG Blurr gave him his rifle):

I turned "Dead" Optimus Prime into Nemesis Prime with a little teal & translucent red (well, and opaque red for his eyes...and a Decepticon sticker from ToyHax)!



Head-swapped the Seekers:

I felt like whiny smart@$$ Starscream needed the smirk, even though Thundercracker is my favorite, haha.

I don't like the concept of "Minibots." Vehicle modes should be in scale, and an A-10 Warthog plane is not smaller than a semi-truck cab, lol. (Unfortunately, due to their larger size, CHUG Ultra Class Powerglide & Voyager Seaspray are in storage at the moment, haha.)

The Legacy Bulkhead mold is GREAT. But I already have my ideal Bulkhead in Prime First Edition (I just need to strip the paint from his lower jaw so he makes the full conversion to Bill Fagerbakke BH). I love the character of Brawn, but haven't been able to find a size I like. I LOVED the PFE repaint, but was unable to acquire him, and if the Studio Series Bumblebee were as big as either Bulkhead & had a less busy "movie" face, that would be my ideal Bulkhead. But the Legacy mold is really great. So I repainted it.

G.I. Joe: Classified:

I was really loving the updated looks for Classified, except Destro was a bit too classic for my tastes. My initial plan after cutting his collar down was to remove the flesh paint from his chest, but that didn't end up working out. So I pulled the whole piece out, and was thinking "boy, I sure wish I had a thin clothed chest I could put in this triangular hole...y'know, like it was a buttoned up suit jacket..." and then realized I had ML MCU Klaue's vest overlay from the Xavier custom so many others did, and that worked PERFECTLY!

Painted the tie MARS red, the remaining blue suit parts black.
Forearms: Classified Flint, right glove cuff painted red. Painted watch gold.


Haven't figured out a name for her yet, as Coil Baroness is my Anastasia, but I still wanted more ranks & more women. THE BODY USE WAS NOT MY IDEA, but I altered it a bit.

Movie Baroness head, arms/hands, belt, weapons, cut boot pegs off & glued them onto the new body, plugged the boots back on.

I was very very happy to do Interrogator, and kinda hope they either don't make him officially, or that I don't like how they made him, because I really love my version, lol. Little bit of black runover onto the visor, but I don't notice it on my shelf.

Flint lower arms, thigh holster & gun.
Crocmaster's hook & Scarlett's knives, I think.


Way back in the 25th/30th Anniversary line, someone on HissTank or JBL offered the idea of putting Mindbender's head on the "Rex 'The Doctor' Lewis" Rise of Cobra body when I becried my dissatisfaction with the mad scientist wearing a sleeveless trenchcoat and nothing else. So, as soon as the Classified figure was announced, I got a body all ready for him, and it's been sitting head/neckless in my Joe display across two apartments!

But then creativity struck, and I needed an alternate coat for more display options:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

I wanted to be able to display Irma's rat parts as another mutant character, and not specifically Irma mutated, but since she comes in the Channel 6 box set, it was not going to be financially feasible to grab another, so I improvised!


Torso: NECA Toony Bob Ross
Chest Fur: NECA Toony Bob Ross beard
Legs/Feet: NECA Toony Marty McFly

All the articulation is maintained from the original figures, and the rat parts are still fully removable! I'll paint over the pink parts on Bob eventually, haha. Shows that they literally just repainted their pink-shirted Bob.

Masters of the Universe:

Snagged an extra Stinkor on clearance, as I really wanted to use the mask with the wide-eyed head. So I swapped the mouths on the new figure, and now I have four unique heads, and the masks can be used on either wide-eyed or half-eyed!



(The two Revelations Beast Men are minions/troops for the more classic looking Beast Man coming out soon.)

This turned out WAY better than I was expecting! Removed Trap-Jaw's lower jaw inside the metal one because it looked so goofy, and no amount of positioning of the metal jaw could hide it properly. Made sure to slice the curve under the cheekbones, which pretty much eliminated any semblance of a grin!

The way the teeth come to a point in the middle still bugs me, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
