The basic line kinda looks like garbage. It's giving me those awful Sigma 6 figure vibes...

The Sigma 6 aesthetic wasn't for everyone, but they were solid figures who were better articulated than most of what was available at the time. I remember not digging them at first, but then I bought one on a whim and absolutely fell in love with it.

And (GASP) you could actually find them in the store and purchase them!

You could find them because they were ugly and pegwarmers, plus there wasn't a single female in the line.

Have any of you folks who ordered through BBTS received your cobra infantry figures yet? Just trying to gauge if I need to get my hopes of of getting g them before the end of the year (since apparently the only one who gets figures later than them is Pulse).

I received a Cobra Infantry trooper from BBTS. I later placed an order for a second, and it was not fulfilled yet.

I think that it’s insane that we have to preorder the same figures at like 5 different places, HOPING one of them can fill the order.

This just keeps getting worse instead of better. Man the GI Joe peeps are gonna get blasted.

Having to make 5 pre-orders and then cancel 4 will eventually hurt the retailers.

It's not going to hurt them for this line where everything is an instant sell out.

Amazon slid my Cobra Infantry into “Order Received” with no ship date, which may as well be a cancellation. Never had anything ship when Amazon puts something in there.

Got to mess around with Flint and Lady Jay finally. Haven't looked at online reviews but for the most part, I really like them and are great figures which is pretty much how most of the line has been for me, distribution issues aside. My only minor gripe is how under armed Flint is. Just has his shot gun, sidearm, and beret. I guess his vest can make up for it? Great figure still but compared to all the cool stuff Lady Jay came with, Flint kinda makes you raise one of your eyebrows in contemplation. Where's your backpack, combat knife, or binoculars Flint? Maybe Flint is too hardcore and just needs his shotgun and sidearm to take care of business. Anything else is just excess weight for this Joe.

Also, I probably missed it here and never noticed it before , but I just realized that the artwork on the back is being added with characters for every release. Color me blind. Gonna be nice to see Storm Shadow up there since his arctic suite didn't make the cut.
