New toy surprises are ALWAYS a good thing, and this past week, the new Marvel Legends Wolverine boxset arrived on the doorstep or the Fwoosh Offices, so you know we just had to talk about it!
As I am sure you remember, this set, and Callisto in particular, holds a special place in our hearts, so we have been excited for this. Hasbro was kind enough to send over an early final copy of this set (thanks, guys!), but it is scheduled to be out before the end of the year.
Robo and I spent over an hour chatting about Wolverine, Callisto, Mastermind, Cyber, and Omega Red on the FwooshCast live yesterday. If you missed it, the link is below. Something I don’t think was mentioned with Omega Red, the older one has the metal around the mouth and has the omega symbol on the back of his hands. The only thing the new one does better is the white omega symbol on the forehead.
I want a single release of the aristocrat outfit. Was thinking about getting the Hellfire Club set but that is like buying a whole scenery set of the birth of Jesus because you merely want a figure of a baby.
He’s one of the lamest villains created during the 90s. Wolverine is deathly afraid of him because reasons.
If it’s an Amazon set, it will most definitely go on sale. I don’t think I’ve paid full price for any Amazon box sets.
I want Callisto, but not enough to buy these other three clowns.

I originally preordered this set, but the more I think about it, Callisto and Wyngarde are not worth the price of admission. I’ll most likely cancel it and wait for it to go on sale.
Is it weird that the figure I’m most excited for is Cyber, even though I don’t even know who he is? He just looks cool.
